COVID-19 gave new way to Chess Coaching

COVID-19 gave new way to Chess Coaching

COVID-19 put all of us in lockdown situation and since then we all were in our cozy homes.

We spent time with our loves ones, our family, but at the same time, At Prerana Chess Academy, we missed out extended family, i.e. our students, the cute, smart and intelligent kids, who used to come and enjoy learning chess on daily basis, we could not interact with them for many days, in fact few months.

In between, although we were publishing some puzzles through whats app to keep them engaged and in touch with this beautiful game, but later on parents started calling and requesting to start coaching kids online and then we started thinking on those lines.

Zoom App / Google Meet / Skype etc many options were tested and verified and finally we decided to go with Zoom App, and started our First Online Batch.

Definitely there were few challenges initially but now we all are sent and happy to inform that we are successfully running our 3 batches and starting the 4th Batch soon.

Although there was no physical presence, but it hasn't impacted much, we could see that kids are still playing on-board and enjoying learning and solving puzzles over the board.

We do provide group coaching as well as one-one interactive coaching.

We don't see the situation getting to normal at least for few more months and hence it is advised to all the parents to take this opportunity to make your child learn now and once everything becomes normal we will start participating in the tournaments and we definitely have new shining stars in the sky of this the Chess World.

We definitely look towards this as Stepping Stone, as it has helped us reaching to wide area and got students from various cities, states and countries.

Just to name few, Pune, Jalgaon, Nasik,  New Delhi, Vishakhapattanam, US and UK.

I am sure, this list will go on increasing day by day.
